Cooperation in doctoral education

The Network of Finnish Doctoral Programmes in Psychology (Dopsy) provides doctoral students in psychology a national platform for furthering their educational goals.Dopsy has been very successful in producing excellent forms of cooperation and it has improved the ability of doctoral students to network, to keep up their motivation and to develop their skills and knowledge. Psykonet and Dopsy will foster this tradition between all six universities offering degrees in psychology in Finland even after the funding provided by the Academy of Finland ended at the end of 2015.

National cooperation in doctoral education in psychology - in English

Since a great number of doctoral students in psychology in Finland are not Finnish, most of the information offered on this site for doctoral students is in English.

Currently, you will find three sections on this website: About the network, Information sources and Doctoral courses.

About the network describes the basic structure of the network.

Information sources tells you how to join the doctoral training mailing list (gsopisk), the Psykonet Facebook page and also links to various resources such as the calendar of upcoming conferences developed by the International Union of Psychological Science.

Doctoral courses has links to all current courses that may be of interest to doctoral students in psychology. All courses directed specifically at doctoral students in psychology are open to students from all Psykonet universities, provided that there is enough space on the course to accommodate them.

If you think of anything you would like to see added to this website, please don't hesitate to contact the coordinator.
